The hidden truth between Microsoft and Apple

In August of 1997, Apple and Microsoft decided to put the past behind them and focus on the future. At that year’s Macworld event, Steve Jobs and Bill Gates announced that the two companies had entered into a historic agreement. In addition to agreeing to a broad patent cross-licensing agreement, Microsoft promised to support Microsoft Office for the Mac for 5 years while Apple agreed to make Internet Explorer the default web browser on the Mac.

Microsoft also promised to invest approximately $150 million for shares of Apple non-voting preferred stock. Though the Mac faithful at the time were wary of Microsoft, Steve Jobs at the time famously explained that “we have to let go of this notion that for Apple to win, Microsoft has to lose.”

The deal between the two companies was mutually beneficial from every angle. Apple got some much needed cash while Microsoft was able to keep a weakened competitor afloat, thereby alleviating concerns about the company’s monopolistic power. You’ve cracked phone screen. Whether it slipped out of your hand while you were on a call or you left it on top of your car when you drove away, the glass is smashed.

Since then, Apple has enjoyed an unparalleled resurgence, ascending from the brink of bankruptcy to one of the most valuable companies on the planet.

Laptop Spa

Among all the Laptop spa we have done, this is one of the unique cases that we have encountered.

We assumed that “cockroach eggs and ants footprints” may be result from coke spillage previously. (refer to the attachment)

Nevertheless, this laptop is in a great shape, but it just needs a shower only tongue emoticon

Where you iPhone goes to Die (and be Reborn)

At a dedicated factory with 24-hour security in an undisclosed location in Hong Kong, iPhones are being carefully and meticulously destroyed.

The plant is one of a handful around the world, chosen by Apple Inc. to grind up and recycle its iconic phones. And just as the companies that manufacture the handsets are subject to strict standards and secrecy, the same applies in reverse for their disassembly, right down to weighing the shreds, to make sure nothing is lost.

In addition, Apple said it collected more than 40,000 tons of e-waste in 2014 from recycled devices, including enough steel to build 100 miles of railway track.

Nowadays, E-waste has become one of the rapidly growing problems in the world since we all obviously have excessive devices. Therefore, let’s all put some effort on it and start influencing and improving Singaporean’s attitude and behaviour towards e-waste.

The BEST Phone in 2015

1.85GHz Dual Core A9 Processor with 2GB RAM,iPhone 6s achieved 132,620 points。As a second runner up, Huawei, Mate 8 has scored 92,746 point.

On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 only managed to get 83,362 points, with stunning specs like 2.1GHz 8 core, Exynos 7420 processor.

Honestly speaking, it brings out an interesting point here.
Apart from IOS devices, Huawei Mate 8 is the biggest winner on performance ranking. We could see from the ranking that there are still some gaps between IOS and Android.

For instance, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is higher than iPhone 6 and iPhone 6’s score is higher than Snapdragon 810 devices.
