Data Recovery

Hard disks may die. Households may be burn down. Data lost may result from human error. You probably find yourself screaming over the loss of all your precious data, priceless family photos and important work information etc when these incidents happen.

It goes without saying that professional Data-Recovery experts can literally salvage the data that you have lost (even from a fire-damaged hard disk), on condition that you are willing to pay thousands of dollars for the service.

To most of us, it probably sounds like horrifying urban legend but those professional companies do not just use cutting edge engineering system for logical data recovery but also it needs to be done at a standardized clean room with deep technical expertise which you won’t be able to find at any computer shops at neighbor hood area.

By writing this article already gives me a goose bumps just imagining how serious this will damage our wallet if this happens to us. Even though online back up with cloud technology are widely available, you won’t be able to complete store your data there unless you pay addition S$99 for Dropbox storage expansion.

Alternatively, we might just spend S$20+per year for Seagate Rescue Plan with peace of mind and knowing that your data is protected against loss and unexpected expenses.

The hidden truth between Microsoft and Apple

In August of 1997, Apple and Microsoft decided to put the past behind them and focus on the future. At that year’s Macworld event, Steve Jobs and Bill Gates announced that the two companies had entered into a historic agreement. In addition to agreeing to a broad patent cross-licensing agreement, Microsoft promised to support Microsoft Office for the Mac for 5 years while Apple agreed to make Internet Explorer the default web browser on the Mac.

Microsoft also promised to invest approximately $150 million for shares of Apple non-voting preferred stock. Though the Mac faithful at the time were wary of Microsoft, Steve Jobs at the time famously explained that “we have to let go of this notion that for Apple to win, Microsoft has to lose.”

The deal between the two companies was mutually beneficial from every angle. Apple got some much needed cash while Microsoft was able to keep a weakened competitor afloat, thereby alleviating concerns about the company’s monopolistic power. You’ve cracked phone screen. Whether it slipped out of your hand while you were on a call or you left it on top of your car when you drove away, the glass is smashed.

Since then, Apple has enjoyed an unparalleled resurgence, ascending from the brink of bankruptcy to one of the most valuable companies on the planet.

Among all the Laptop spa we have done, this is one of the unique cases that we have encountered.

We assumed that “cockroach eggs and ants footprints” may be result from coke spillage previously. (refer to the attachment)

Nevertheless, this laptop is in a great shape, but it just needs a shower only tongue emoticon
