Data migration is an essential and crucial step when it comes to device upgrades or operating system upgrades. It can be tricky even with transferring information between two identical operating systems.
Data Migration Service provides you a hassle free experience and a secured way to transfer all important data such as emails, contacts, calendars, messagesand apps.
Each customer is entitled to one (1) Data Migration service for one (1) device per package. The following device categories are covered by the Service: Personal Computers, Laptops, Tablet and Smartphone, running on Windows, Mac OS, iOS and Android OS only. (More refer to TERMS &CONDITIONS)
Data Recovery
The Data Recovery Service (limited to one (1) claim for the Services during the Term of this Agreement). In the case of device failure or defect which Customer cannot access/read the data/ information on the device, Laptop General Hospital will attempt for a Logical Data Recovery method without guaranteed success, to recover data/information on the Device, following Seagate Data Recovery protocols and processes.If the attempted is successful, Laptop General Hospital will reserve the right to choose between restoring the data and information to the Device or copy any recovered data or information to the storage medium(s) of our own choice.Laptop General Hospital will then lend the storage medium (s) to the Customer with no obligation to re-install the data or information back to the original device. If the device cannot be recovered by logical data recovery method, customers are entitled for a discounted rate of USD$150 (S$$229) for physical Data Recovery.
