DIGITAL HOSPITAL® TRADE-IN & SERVICE PROGRAM

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS (“TERMS AND CONDITIONS”) BEFORE PARTICIPATING IN THE TRADE-IN PROGRAM. THIS IS A LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND PC DREAMS PTE LTD – DIGITAL HOSPITAL (“DIGITAL HOSPITAL”) ESTABLISHING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH YOU AS AN END-CUSTOMER (“CUSTOMER”) ARE ENTITLED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TRADE-IN PROGRAM. BY PARTICIPATING IN THE TRADE-IN PROGRAM, CUSTOMER IS DEEMED TO HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREED TO ABIDE BY, THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, WHICH ARE SUBJECT TO REVIEW AND MODIFICATION BY DIGITAL HOSPITAL FROM TIME TO TIME.

TRADE IN GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. General
      In order to be eligible for this Trade-in Program, Customers must at all times comply with all of its obligations under these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Participation in the Trade-in Program is entirely voluntary.
  3. Quotations
    1. All quotations are based on information supplied.
    2. DIGITAL HOSPITAL reserves the right to re-quote if the information provided are inaccurate.
    3. All quotations are valid for 14 days only, unless otherwise stated.
  4. Eligibility
    1. Only AIO, Desktops, Laptops, Tablets, Smartphones and LCD Monitors of known major brands are eligible for trade in.
    2. Items not Eligible.
      1. DESKTOPS: DIY (Do-it-Yourself) Desktops are not accepted.
      2. LAPTOPS / DESKTOPS: Single-core processors models are no longer accepted.
      3. TABLETS / SMARTPHONES : Android 5.0 below no longer accepted. Ipad 1 , Iphone 4 , 4s no longer accepted.
      4. MONITOR SCREENS/LCD TV: All LCD/LED/CRT Monitors and TVs are NOT accepted.
      5. GAMING CONSOLES, SOFTWARE AND E-MOBILITY: All gaming consoles, software and e-mobility devices are not accepted. Please proceed to Hall 601 for gaming consoles and software; .
      6. TAMPERED DEVICES: Devices that are dismantled or heavily tampered with are not accepted.
      7. INCOMPLETE & FAULTY DEVICES: Faulty or incomplete units could be considered for trade-in (except for Faulty LCD/LED monitors & TVs), but the device will be re-valued accordingly.
      8. If such devices cannot be reasonably trade in, you will be informed accordingly.
  5. General Trade-in Value Guideline.
    1. Windows PCs above 6 years old and android tablets / phones above 2 years old have higher depreciation value.
    2. Faulty LCDs are not accepted. Working LCDs 18.5″ and below are not accepted as well.
  6. Disputes
    1. DIGITAL HOSPITAL reserve the rights to reject any units for trade-in from customers.
    2. In case of dispute, DIGITAL HOSPITAL reserves the right of final decision on the price.
  7. Modification of these Terms and Conditions
    1. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DIGITAL HOSPITAL reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions and/or withdraw or terminate or extend the Program at any stage without notice and without any liability towards Customer or anyone.
    2. DIGITAL HOSPITAL may (but shall not be obliged to) provide advance notice to Customer in such a manner as DIGITAL HOSPITAL deems appropriate in the event that it decides to modify these Terms and conditions and/or withdraw or terminate or extend the Trade-in Program.

Definition of full working unit for Mobile Devices (Tablets / Smartphones):
Full Working Unit is defined as:

  1. Completeness and functionality of Tablets / Smartphones with charger, battery, original accessories such as data cable, keyboards and flash memory cards (wherever applicable).
  2. No major physical damages such as cracks, dents or loose hinges (wherever applicable).
  3. LCD is free from major display faults; chassis is in reasonable aesthetic condition.
  4. LCD display screen must be intact, and not damaged, scratched or cracked.
  5. Words displayed on the LCD screen must not be segmented.
  6. The mobile phone/Tablet must be able to power on and device must be unlocked.
  7. Export Unit without local IDA approval will re-valued at lower price.
  8. Unit that does not satisfy any of the above conditions will not be considered as a FULL WORKING unit.

Definition of full working units for Laptops / Desktops:
Full Working Unit is defined as:

  1. Completeness and functionality of Laptop/AIO with battery / charger / external optical drive / Keyboard / Mouse / VGA convertor cables /Power Cables / USB to Ethernet cables (wherever applicable).
  2. No major physical damages such as cracks, dents or loose hinges (wherever applicable).
  3. Batteries to hold more than 50% of designed charge capacity (wherever applicable).
  4. LCD is free from major display faults; chassis is in reasonable aesthetic condition.
  5. LCD display screen must be intact, and not damaged, scratched or cracked.
  6. Devices should not have been tampered with.
  7. Unit that does not satisfy any of the above conditions will not be considered as a FULL WORKING unit.

Definition of full working units for AiO Desktops / LCD Monitors & TVs:
Full Working Unit is defined as:

  1. Completeness and functionality of LCDs & TVs with table stand, power cable, VGA cable, original accessories such as display cables, speakers 3.5mm cable (wherever applicable).
  2. LCD / TVs is free from major physical damages and major display faults. External Chassis should be in reasonable aesthetic condition.
  3. Major physical damages are defined as cracks or scratches on the screen, dents or cracks on external
  4. Major display faults are defined as obvious pressure marks, white or dark spots or patches, double image or blacklight leakage/bleeding issues. LCDs panels that does not have 3 or more dead pixels or 3 or more internal dust that is equivalent to the size of a pixel.
  5. Only LCD/LED TVs are accepted. Plasma TVs, CRT are not accepted. TVs must come with TV Tuner, Monitors and TVs must come with table stand. Screen sizes below 18.5” are not accepted.
  6. In major shows held in Singapore Expo or Suntec Convention Hall, e.g. IT Show, PC Show, Comex, Sitex, CEE, Megatex, Expo shows etc, only screen sizes up to 34” is accepted due to storage constraints.
  7. LCDs / TV that had not have been tampered with.
  8. Unit that does not satisfy any of the conditions above will not be considered as a FULL WORKING unit.

DIGITAL HOSPITAL® SSD UPGRADING PROGRAM

SSD Upgrading Terms and Conditions:

    1. SSD upgrade service includes 1 (one) physical installation of SSD and a free cloning service.
    2. Special Comex 2017 price of $29.90 is only valid for Samsung SSD purchased through authorized Dealer, Eternal Asia (EA), with the retail box carrying the EA Sticker, during Comex, 31st AUG to 3rd SEP 2017. Usual price for SSD upgrades is $85.60.
    3. Exchange of authorized Samsung SSD (with topup) services available if purchased Samsung SSD has an incompatible connector interface with the device. Inventory stocks for SSD exchange services are provided on “While stock last basis”.
    4. Warranty of device may be voided in the process of upgrading. Customers will be informed of the risk before carrying out the upgrading process.
    5. SSD/RAM upgrading is subjected to SSD/RAM compatibility, the product design and form factor etc. it only covers the labour charge, customers need to provide its own components.
    6. Cloning of storage device is only possible if only the occupied space of the original data clusters are smaller than that of the new destination storage device. In the event that cloning is not possible, we will do a fresh installation of the original OS at our own discretion.
    7. Cloning and fresh installation of Operating System is only valid for systems with valid original license from Windows and Apple.
    8. Digital Hospital will not be responsible for any data loss during the cloning process. Customers are advised to backup their data before sending in.
    9. Digital Hospital will not be responsible if built in recovery partition does not work after the cloning process.
    10. The Customer’s original device must be fully functional, capable of starting up properly and be virus free to be eligible for the Data Cloning Services. Eligible PC must be with a running Windows XP Service Pack 3 or later and a working USB port. Eligible Mac must be with Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later and a working Ethernet, Firewire, Thunderbolt, or USB port.  In cases where the original device is faulty or partially faulty, the data residing in the original device might be further corrupted or lost.
    11. Digital Hospital does not guarantee the usability of the cloned data from an old device to Customer’s new device. Certain data, including but not limited to, email, contacts, and calendar applications that which required support of the original software or software version may not be usable in the new device.
    12. During the check in process, only a quick surface diagnosis and physical examination of the device is performed. Certain issues may surface during the cloning process. Digital Hospital will not be liable for the additional issues identify after checking in of the devices.
    13. In the even of any dispute, Digital Hospital’s decision shall be final.

Terms and conditions for unlimited replacements protection plan:

  1. This protection plan only covers cracked screen replacements for iPhone 5, 5c, 5s, 6, 6 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus, SE, 7 ,7 Plus, 8 and 8 Plus only. No other components are covered.
  2. Valid for 2 years from date of first repair
  3. Warranty from manufacturer(if any) will be void after screen replacement, as per manufacturer’s terms and conditions.
  4. Unlimited number of claims are allowed. An excess will be payable by the customer based on the table below (inclusive of 7% GST). See Tablet below.

  5. No claim period of 30 days floows after every repair applies.
  6. This unlimited plan is only available to end consumers. It is not applicable to businesses, dealers, and any party other than individual persons.
  7. This protection plan covers the phone whose serial number is registered, and the person whose details are registered, and is non-transferable.
  8. If the phone’s screen is tampered with, this protection plan will be void.
  9. As part of our screen repair process, we will restore the water proofing of the phone to the best of our ability. However, certain conditions may prevent full water proofing, such as dented case, torn rubber gasket, etc.
  10. Original Warranty of the device (if any) will be voided once screen is replaced.
  11. Replaced screen will be retain by Digital Hospital for auditing purposes. If return of replaced screen is required, unlimited cracked coverage plan will be voided.
  12. We reserve the right to vary or modify the terms and conditions of the protection plan at any time without prior notice.

General Servicing Terms and Conditions

Disclaimer Statements

  1. Any data/software stored on the product (“Product”) could be erased without restoring during the course of Digital Hospital (“DH”)’s service (“Service”). Customers shall be solely responsible for fully performing data/software saving, back-up before delivering the Product for Service. DH makes no warranties, expressed or implied, with regard to preservation of Customer’s data/software, nor shall be liable for any damages, loss arising from restoring the data/software.
  2. In the event of an unsuccessful repair due to multiple implication, intermittent or unforseen issues, the fault might not be repeated under the original circumstances and other compound faults might arise.
  3. DH is not responsible for the loss, damage or destruction to, any accessories, peripherals as well as removable storage devices such as memory cards, discs, flash drives (“Equipment”) other than the Product being serviced. Equipment shall not be delivered together with the Product unless specifically requested and listed by DH on this DH Service form.
  4. Customers must contact DH IMMEDIATELY if the customer copy of this DH Service Form is lost or stolen. DH will not be held responsible for any loss of damage to the Customers if a valid customer copy of this DH Service Form is presented to collect the Product.
  5. All hardware parts and components that DH repaired or replaced will be under warranty for ninety (90) days or for the remainder of the warranty period, whichever is applicable, unless otherwise stated. All the replaced defective parts or components shall automatically become the property of DH.
  6. After Service has been rendered or if Customers refuse the Service or Quotation DH provides, DH will notify Customers to collect the Product. If the Customers fail to collect the Product within a period of 90 days from DH’s notice, DH reserves the right to (i) donate or recycle the Product in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations; (ii) claim damages from Customers, including costs associated with storage, disposal of the Product and any statutory right in lieu for unpaid charges.
  7. DH collects, processes, and uses Customers’ personal data to facilitate the Service; and that for this purpose, DH may transfer and process Customers’ personal data in any country where DH or its affiliated companies maintain offices, or to DH’s agent and/or contractors. DH is committed to protecting and respecting Customers’ privacy and will use the collected personal data subject to DH Privacy Policy.
